The little boy in this photo – Akmal was negotiating…and being persistent about it. He was just discharged from the hospital for his asthma, and we were at a hotel for the weekend.
Akmal had wanted yet another round of chocolate cake and chocolates. I insisted he stopped because of his allergies.

Akmal : Daddy, just one more.
Daddy : No…
Akmal : Please…
Daddy : No! Enough already!
Akmal : This will be the last one!
Daddy : That’s what you said the last 3 times, Akmal!
Akmal : Just a little bit!
Daddy : Which part of “No” that you don’t understand, Akmal? (giving daddies’ atypical stern look)
Akmal : But Trisha and Daniel had theirs….
Daddy : Yes, they did but not much.
Akmal : Please….just a tiny bit
Daddy : No… N.O …No!
Akmal : Daddy….please…
